Team Associated / RCM drivers Dominate Finnish Championships

The first race of Finnish 1/10 offroad championship series was held in Vaasa, at the Worlds 2011 track. Team Associated drivers were in top speed right from the beginning of the 2WD day. Most of the drivers chose Associated B5M as there was enough traction to use mid motor cars. After the qualification there were 8 Team Associated drivers in A Main!

After tight finals, winner of the 2WD class was Jussi Luopajärvi. Young talent Joona Haatanen was second and multiple-Finnish Champion Petri Ström was third. A-Main results (overall):

Sunday was 4WD day and Ström was determined to get a victory after his third place finish on Saturday. He outpaced the other drivers, TQ'd, and took the first place in final results. Karri Salmela had a good fight with Henry Salmen, and Karri managed to get the second place overall. It was also great to see local young Team Associated drivers Oskari Mäki and Mikko Luopajärvi in the A Main!
