Patrick Hofer Wins Swiss Championship Rd. 5

Round 5 of 2014 1/10 Off Road Swiss National Championship was hosted by the EOCD Club in Dielsdorf the weekend of August 10. Reedy/Team Associated factory driver Patrick Hofer has been the man to beat for most of the season and looked to make another appearance on the top step of the podium. Even though the weather conditions were changing continuously with rain falling on and off and the track surface going from wet to dry, the race organizers made a huge effort to keep the racing surface in as good a shape as possible.
With the track surface changing throughout the weekend, the drivers were faced with the challenge of adapting their car and electronics setups to best suit the current conditions. Patrick Hofer, driving a B5M and B44.2 with Reedy power, managed the conditions best and earned the pole position in both the 2WD and 4WD Modified classes.
In the finals, Patrick stayed focused on clean driving and fine-tuning his car setup. This obviously paid off handsomely as Patrick went on to win every main in both categories!
