The East Coast Nitro Series brings together the best drivers from VA, NC, SC, and GA to compete for eight races among three of the nicest facilities in the USA. The series travels to The Farm 2 in Charlotte, NC, The Tiltyard in Dayton, VA, and The Badlands in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The series was dominated by Team Associated drivers Brandon Melton and Chris Pace. The consistency and durability of the FT RC8 lead to more podium finishes than any other car.

The series finale was held at The Badlands in Myrtle Beach, SC and the RC8 showed early it could set the pace. The RC8 TQ'd both the sportsman and Pro Buggy class. Jody Miller TQ'd the sportsman class, and Brandon Melton TQ'd the Pro Buggy class.

Team Associated had already secured a 1-2 finish in the points before the event took place, but the championship was left to be decided by long-time friends Chris and Brandon. The Pro Buggy A Main was hard fought, and as positions swapped, Brandon Melton ended up 3rd and Chris Pace 4th, ensuring a 1-2 finish for Team Associated in the overall standings. Chris Pace was named the series champion with Brandon Melton second overall and Travis Dupree in third. Pace and Melton were separated by only 15 points after eight races.
