Vesa Yli Doubles Down at Finnish Nationals!

Reedy factory driver Vesa Yli has captured National titles in both the 13.5 GT and Modified 1/12 for the 2018 indoor season! Pole positions and wins in the double-header finale in both classes capped off a dominating campaign.

Vesa drove flawlessly all season and was able to take advantage of Reedy's new S-Plus motors and Zappers SG batteries in the power-dependent 13.5 class. He writes:

"The Reedy S-Plus 13.5 delivered the dominating power to TQ all 13.5 class qualifying rounds in both days with almost a lap! I used 75mm/rev with 42 deg. timing in it. The Zappers SG batteries were money and kept the voltage high during the run with little drop of power in the end, with improved punch from start to finish."

The Modified class, limited to 6.5 turns, allowed Vesa to showcase his driving and the smooth power delivery of his Sonic 540-M3 6.5 motor, and the long-lasting power of his Zappers SG batteries.

Finland's motorsports sanctioning body encompasses all forms of motorsports, which means that Vesa will collect his championship trophies at the year-end awards banquet where champions of domestic series, as well as Finnish drivers racing internationally, will be recognized for their accomplishments.
