Joona Haatanen Crowned 2020 Finnish 1:8 National Champion with RC8B3.2

The world famous track in Vaasa, Finland, best known for hosting an epic 2011 1:10 I.F.M.A.R. World Championship, hosted the Finnish 1:8 Off-Road Nationals this past weekend. Driving his Team Associated RC8B3.2, Joona Haatanen took an impressive win. Better known as a 1:10 driver, Joona has shown that he has the skills to compete with some of the top 1:8 off-road drivers as well. Using Reedy servos, batteries and charger, along with a Ruddog engine and JConcepts tires, Haatanen had the complete package to make it to the top step of the podium.

Rounding out the podium, and also driving a RC8B3.2 was Pekko Iivonen. Congratulations, team!
