Goodbye 2020! This weekend I got the chance to travel to the 2021 Hudy Championships at ProLevel RC on January 7-10, 2021. Host and track owner Drew Ellis with his family and crew put together another great event.

This makes it my second time attending the Hudy. I raced in 2018 and had a great time and really enjoyed the racing. I did, however, come up short with another second-place finish (Bridesmaid) to the very talented Paul Doyle. This year was another chance at the prize. I came in with a well-prepared Reedy-equipped TC7.2.

I was able to grab an early TQ in the Friday night qualifier and went on to reset it Saturday as well. Sitting TQ on the grid at the beginning of the main event on Sunday morning, I was able to go tone to tone for my first Hudy Championship.

Thank you so much for putting this race together and having us racers have a safe and fun place to enjoy the hobby. Special thank you to Eboney Kinnard and my daughters for making this a great Christmas present, a fun and relaxing weekend. Thanks to my sponsors and supporters.
