Americans love their trucks and what better way to show that than have an R/C race dedicated to 1:10 scale trucks ... no buggies ... no 4WDs ... just rompin' stompin' trucks! Hosted by Hot Rod Hobbies, the 9th Annual Reedy Truck Race brought out the top West Coast truck drivers to battle for supremacy of both electric and gas categories.

Hot off the ROAR Nationals win in Las Vegas, Associated's new Factory Team GT2 was piloted to the pole position by Associated/Reedy driver Ryan Maifield. Right on his heels was Associated teammate Jared Tebo. Utilizing the revolutionary quick change system that Xtreme magazine says "is so easy to use that sometimes you think they're not snapped on." Both Jared and Ryan changed tires to ensure maximum grip and consistency, leaving the competition almost a lap down in less than 15 minutes. Leading 40 of the 45-minute main, Ryan Maifield brought home the victory for the Factory Team GT2.

In a two-way tie for TQ, Associated driver Ryan Cavalieri edged out fellow teammate Steven Hartson for the pole position in the Factory Electric Truck class. Winning the first main, Cavalieri went in to the second the favorite for the overall title. Brilliant driving by Associated's Jared Tebo challenged Cavalieri for the lead and he eventually crossed the line first in the second of three A Mains. Ultimately the overall win went to Jared Tebo with Ryan Cavalieri in the second position, making a 1-2 sweep for the Associated Factory Team T4.
