5 Team Associated Podium Wins at the Pro-Line Summer Off-Road Shootout

It was a successful weekend for Team Associated and Reedy Power at the 22nd Annual Pro-Line Summer Off-Road Shootout hosted by Rainman's Hobby and R. C. Raceway in Bakersfield, CA. For the first time, the Shootout (previously held at Hot Rod Hobbies) was moved to an indoor facility. The two-day event was held Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, 2019. The event featured a 3-round qualifying format Saturday, and Triple-A mains for all classes Sunday. Drivers were challenged with changing track conditions and grip level throughout the event. The drivers who could stay in the narrow groove found their way to the top.

With an array of drivers from all over Southern California and beyond, the competition was stiff. We had many team drivers in attendance competing in their respective classes. Team Associated walked away from the event claiming all five of the major buggy titles: 2WD Open Buggy, 4WD Open Buggy, 2WD Expert Stock Buggy, 4WD Expert Stock Buggy, and 2WD 13.5 40+ Buggy. Team Associated also claimed all six Open Buggy podium spots.
