Myron Kinnard TQs and Wins 3 Classes at the 2022 ROAR Regionals

This past weekend, Team Associated and Reedy Power came to the 2022 ROAR Regionals, hosted by Apex Raceway. Apex has been a great host to some of the best on-road carpet races in the country, including ROAR Carpet Nationals, USVTA Nationals, as well as regional and local events. It's considered one of the premier tracks in the U.S.A. Team Associated and Reedy Power drivers were on hand to keep the Blue team in the winner's circle. Drivers like Myron "Battman" Kinnard, Logan Pilcher, and Scott Pilcher--all there to represent the brands. The event was comprised of Friday practice, Saturday qualifiers, and Sunday Triple A Mains. The usual classes were there, like VTA, Stock TC, USGT, and even some Mod TC this year.

With Friday practice wrapped up, Saturday qualifiers went underway. Battman entered VTA, USGT, and Euro Truck, and Logan ran some VTA and Euro Truck, and Scott wrenched on the cars to keep them smooth and in top-notch shape. After three rounds of qualifying, Logan secured fifth spot on the VTA grid, and completed one qualifier in Euro Truck, which landed him in sixth. I was able to take TQ in all three classes--VTA, USGT, Euro Truck--to ensure that Team Associated/Reedy Power would have a very good chance come Sunday's Triple A Mains.

Sunday's Triple A Mains started off very well with a win in Euro Truck.

The VTA main went very well for both Logan and Battman. Both of our Reedy Power TC7.2's held ground as I went tone to tone to secure first place, and Logan held strong to his fifth-place spot.

In USGT, the Reedy Power TC7.2 showed very good consistency with a very strong 98.5% to take the tone to tone win. With the first set of mains done, a win in A2 could seal the deal for Team Associated/Reedy Power/Battman.

A2 was a mirror image of A1, with Battman taking wins in all three classes, which gave him the overall victory and secured three ROAR titles and TQs. Logan held his fifth-place spot in A2, and then moved into the fourth-place spot for A3, for an overall finish of fifth in VTA.

This was a good start to the 2022 season for the Team Associated/Reedy Power on-road guys. Still putting the cars in the show, on podiums, and still getting some Championships. We want to thank Shon Harding and Apex Raceway for hosting a great event, and we hope to be back next year.
