Yli Wins FinTrack Tour TC Nationals Rd. 3!

The third round of the FinTrack Tour TC Nationals was run at the Vaasa indoor track and hosted in cooperation with both the EPUA and Vaasa clubs. The host club provided an all-new layout for Sunday's Pro Stock class competition.

Mastering the new layout quickly, Reedy factory driver Vesa Yli was able to set the pace from the outset of controlled practice and went on to TQ all four qualifying rounds by almost a full lap. Vesa started the final from the pole position ahead of Markus Afelt, with Tony Raikas rounding out the top three.

Vesa won the first two finals with ease to secure the round win. With the victory already guaranteed, Vesa went for broke in leg three and took the win with a single fastest lap: .3 ahead of the next fastest competitor. The package was dialed!

With one round remaining, Vesa is leading in championship series with two wins and looks to wrap up the championships at the final round March 19-20.
